Happy New Year 2020!

We are beginning 2020 with unexpected new assignments.  Our mission President and his counselor (apparently this is the only missionary President who gets counselors since the mission is so big), called us into his office for what we thought would be a routine interview to see how things are going after our first 2 months.  But Pres. Fenn said he had new assignments for us.  He wants to take us out of the Family History Library and bring us to the Mission Office.  Ed will be over mission technology which includes security badges, parking permits, AV equipment and much more.  I will be the housing coordinator and the first phone contact with new Senior Missionaries.  Folks, these are BIG jobs and we are very nervous.  Thank goodness the current couple will be here to train us until the end of Feb.  Ed and I will be sharing a cubicle on the 3rd floor in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.  We have mixed feelings about the change.  I have loved being in the wonderful library and have le
