A brief word from the Celestial Bubble.  We are so blessed to meet in the Chapel on the mezzanine of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for Sunday Sacrament meetings.  The beauty of the that venue is almost like being in the temple.  Today, in our Sunday School class Sally and I sat next to the window with the Temple here at Temple Square in view right outside.  How wonderful to have the spirit of the temple overlooking our class.  Tomorrow, we have devotional also in the Chapel of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building at 7:30am.  Sally and I plan to have our pictures taken with the temple as a backdrop in the soft early morning light. This week has been our first full week in our assigned Zone.  Last Friday, at our "Go Forth" meeting all us Senior Missionaries were assigned to one of the several Zones.  We were assigned to the Family History ~ International Floor (basement B1).  Sally will be meeting and helping patrons.  I will be working on a special assignment, AGES (Ances

Here We Are!

Nov 11, 2019.  I am finally starting our mission blog.  We have been on our Mission since Oct 28 when we entered the Provo MTC. We were there for 4 days.  We had to learn to navigate the cafeteria and not get run over by the young, ravenous missionaries.  We saw Elder Koenig who used to live in our ward. He is on his way to Japan.  Every missionary there was constantly asked "where are you from and where are you going?"  All in all, it was a great experience.  We had wonderful teachers. We had a moderate size group of new  Senior Missionaries going all over the world .  There was a large group coming to our mission at Salt Lake City Headquarters, most doing Family or Church History but some doing finance or office help.  They are our Social Group and we are the activities leaders.  We became close to the Heyns from Minnesota at the MTC as they were our “others”.  That means we practiced our listening, invitation, promised blessings and testimony with them and we are the only
